XVI Marathon of Rome
It was officially announced the date on which will be held the16th round of the Marathon of Rome, the Italian sporting event with the largest number of participants from around the world.
The departure is scheduled at 9:00 am from the Coliseum.
This year is a special edition because the event is dedicated to the memory of the legendary exploit at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 by the marathon champion, the Ethiopian Abebe Bikila.
A gift for all participants, the super Asics backpack with the portrait of the legendary Abebe Bikila and the legendary number 11 of the athlete from Ethiopia. After the marathon, all those athletes have come regularly to the finish line will be entitled to the official medal of the competition.
The Rome Marathon will take place on 21 March 2010.
