This year one more time the eternal city will act as a background to a summer full of big concerts and musical events. Several Italian and international artists chose the amazing city of Rome to present their new albums or play those songs that made the history of music.
The season will start on 5th June with the big concert of Lenny Kravitz at the Palalottomatica. The American rock will celebrate his 20 year- old- career coming to Rome with his world tour.
After that, on 16th June it’s going to be the Depeche Mode’s turn to enjoy their fans with the new album and everlasting hits like “Enjoy the Silence” and “Precious” at the Olimpic Stadium.
On 24th June the trash metal band of Metallica will play at the Palalottomatica, and on 19th July, at the Olimpic Stadium, thousands of lucky fans will witness the long- waited concert of Bruce Springsteen “the Boss”, promoting his last album “Working on a dream”.
Last but not least, from 25th June until 31st July, the 7th edition of the music festival “Luglio suona bene 2009” at the Auditoruim “Parco della Musica”, organized and promoted by “Foundation Music for Rome”, will liven up this summer with music from all around the world, trying to succeed in his objective to promote music in a multicultural dimension.
